Assalamu Alaikum! I’m a convert woman & I want to visit my local masjid. I’m nervous to do something incorrect, I have no Muslim friends here. Are there rules or procedure for when you enter, how to enter, where you enter, etc? Thank you 🙏🏼

No babes, there bo specific rules. As a convert, just show up there and I am sure people will welcome you. Ask questions and if u feel comfortable tell then that you are a convert , they will help u a lot. There are some duas that recommended to be read, but slowly u will learn, dont even stress about it. step by step, no rush or pressure. Have good day, and make sure in these last ten days you do istiqfaar (astaqfurullah). It wipes away sins , and opend the doors or mercy for you.
Assalamu Alaikum Sister,
Mashallah congratulations on converting! I’m a convert brother myself.
At first it’s a bit scary to go to a masjid, but now the masjid is like my second home. I chill there, eat there, pray there!
the only things you should do is make wudu like normal, dress modestly, and put your shoes in the rack. Also remember when finishing prayer, don’t walk in front of someone who is still praying.
make sure that you introduce yourself to all the other sisters (they will most likely adore you) and maybe even say hello to some of the brothers or Imam. Just remember that the masjid is separated by sex, and that men are not allowed to enter the ladies side.
allahuma baarik sister,
have a lovely day.
Hello! Congratulations on your conversion! Mashallah! I am also a convert woman; and not many Muslim friends! If you’d like to connect, and learn together, I would love that! Inshallah! Welcome sister!
