Waalaikumas Salam dear sister, considering ASR prayer time we could follow the hadith narrated below.
Abdullah Bin Rafii Radiallahu Anhu asked Saaiduna Abu Hurayrah Radiallahu Anhu regarding the times of prayers. Saaiduna Abu Hurairah Radiallahu Anhu replied, “I will tell you: When the length of your shadow (from the sun) is equal to your height then perform the Zuhr salah. When the length of your shadow becomes twice your height, perform the Asr salah…’ (Muatta Malik p.5)
There are actually different of School have different opinions so I prefer just to follow the Hadith.
Walakium Assalam Wahrahmatullah, you should follow Shafi’s Asr prayer time because they give 2 to 3 hours in between Asr and Maghrib prayers which confirms from this Hadith ⬇️
Sahih Muslim 625 a
Rafi’ b. Khadij reported:
We used to say the afternoon prayer with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and then the camel was slaughtered and ten parts of it were distributed; then it was cooked and then we ate this cooked meat before the sinking of the sun.
Even if we think logically it is not possible to slaughter, disturbe , cook, and eat camel in 1 or 1.5 hour time, which Hanafi people believe is the time for Asr prayer. As Hadith mentioned that we used to slaughter, cook and eat before sinking of the sun which tells us campions used to do all these things before Maghrib prayer.
