He (pbuh) said :
Get nikkah to the one you and your family wants, in a very simplistic manner with a few members of your family as the witness because the more you spend money on your marriage the more the Angel will curse on your marriage and the less you spend on your marriage the more blessings will be sent to your marriage by the Angel….hope this helps
Firstly, you want to make sure that your partner of choice is righteous, and good for you. Then you must state your intentions with your partner, and remember that zina is haram. You then go to your parents and your partners parents to ask for a blessing for marriage (aka your nikkah). Then you should plan your nikkah and get married islamically.
The actual Muslim wedding is known as a nikah. It is a simple ceremony, at which the bride does not have to be present so long as she sends two witnesses to the drawn-up agreement. Normally, the ceremony consists of reading from the Qur’an, and the exchange of vows in front of witnesses for both partners.
To marry a woman, you must contact one of her mahrams (that is to say her father, brother or paternal and maternal uncles) then you organize a meeting with the woman’s family, this is called a muqabala during this muqabala you will have the right to get to know each other this is the time to ask questions and not to hesitate you can organize the number of muqabala you want without going overboard of course, I hope I have been clear ask me questions if you did not understand something and Allah knows best
Good Allah love to matters with respecting wedding
Asalamualaikum warahmatullah, I can not say with confirming how the prophet pbuh Got married but I for sure know that the only mandatory things in an islamic wedding is nikkah and mehr , mehr for the safety of woman( whatever is in the budget of a man and nothing beyond it) nikkah at home or mosque with closest family members as attendees and witness’s , wasting money is forbidden in islam anyway
Islamic way of marriage is simple, husband pays dowry to the wife with form of money, pure gold and silver. Ask an educated scholar for advice.
